Everyone is eagerly waiting for the 2020 Olympics as due to a pandemic the Olympics get delayed for a year and held in 2021. This is not only a competition but a glory for the nation. Every Olypician is the pride of his country. The two weeks of completing were a long movie of ups and downs with many happy, sad and emotional moments. Many of the countries are still facing the pandemic but the Olympics 2020 has been completed blissfully. USA bags the most gold medals and also the most medals in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. 39 gold medals were bagged by the USA with 41 silver and 33 Bronze medals. The USA is followed by China with 38 gold medals, 32 silver and 18 bronze medals.

With 38 gold medals, China was just a medal away from the USA. The Russian Olympic Committee ranks third with 71 medals in total including 20 Gold medals. Great Britain holds the fourth place with 65 medals including 22 gold. The 2020 Olympics hosting country Japan ranks 5th and bags a total of 58 medals with 27 Gold medals. Japan is followed by Australia with a total 46 medals. Congratulations to all the medalists in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
When is the next Olympics?
After Tokyo 2020 summer (in 2021), the next Summer Olympics in 2024. The next Summer Olympics will begin on July 26, 2024 which is going to be hosted by France in the capital city Paris. While the upcoming Olympics are just a few months apart! Yes, the next Olympics are the 2022 Winter Olympics in China.
2022 Winter Olympics
The 2022 Winter Olympics is in Beijing, China. The games are scheduled from February 4 to February 22, 2022. After hosting the upcoming Olympics, China will be added to the list of countries to host multiple Olympics. If we look geographically, the next Olympics will be the three straight Olympics in East Asian countries. The 2018 Olympics were in South Korea. This year the summer Olympics were hosted in Tokyo, Japan. Now China will be the third East-Asian nation in a row to host the Olympics.
2024 Summer Olympics
The next Summer Olympics are in the “City of Light” Paris! The bidding for hosting 2024 Olympics were in 2015 where Paris beat four countries: Rome, Budapest, Hamburg, Los Angeles. The scheduled date for the 2024 Olympics is July 26th to August 11. The next Summer Olympics will be the 6th Olympics hosted by France. The first Olympics hosted by France was in 1904 (Paris), next time in 1924 (Paris), now followed in 1924 (Paris). This country has also hosted the Winter Olympics in 1924, 1968, and 1992. All the Olympics who were not able to get a medal this year are preparing for 2024 to give their best and to bag the medal for their nations.
